USA writing off old customer credits

I have some small credits in my customers accts that I want to write off and get rid of. In quick books how do I do this? I want to be able to have the credits go out of my customers accts and put them into an income acct. No matter what I try the credits are still showing on my aging report as being in the customers accts. Help!

Wrong process. You need to send those bucks to the state. Look up your state's process of "escheatment."
