What are the benefits of b-corp (in financial accounting)?

Hey guys.

I was wondering about the benefits of b-corp in financial accounting? Personally I don't know a great deal about financial accounting so I am having trouble to filter out information when researching.

Also, what are some good sources in finding out information regarding to this?
