Hello, and it's a pleasure to be on the Accountant Forums!
Currently I know few details about the field of accounting, only what I've read from Salary.com and the princeton career books. For example, I do not have any idea how promotion works in the field.
If I happened to land an entry level job in Accounts Receivable during college and worked in this position for a while, then what would be the criteria for achieving a promotion to a supervisory position?
Is it possible to achieve several accomplishments or solve crucial problems in entry-level accounting and would that be helpful in your superiors decision-making?
Thank You
