Hello Everyone,

is it possible to get out of the vehicle personal use/ fringe benefit taxes for commuting to and from work in a business vehicle by "requiring" an employee to drive the vehicle home at night?

for example, if a parking lot has a rule that you cannot leave vehicles overnight so you ask the employee to drive the vehicle home, or if there is a company policy that you have to drive the vehicle home so that it is safely parked and cannot be stolen?

The employee in question is an officer and exempt status.
