I have an interesting question.
An example of what I do is manufacture decor for hotels.
These hotels can be anywhere in the USA or even out of the country.
If I am purchasing the goods to make the decor from suppliers in Texas (which is where my company is), to then be sold to a customer in Texas, I will have to charge sales tax and therefore I can use the exempt form for the supplies used to make that piece of decor correct?
What if I'm selling outside of Texas? since the client will not be charged sales tax. Am I able to use the certificate?
How will this be applied to the Sales & use tax? where would I put the amounts in?
