USA Tax advice

My husband and I had a joint income of 165.000. We paid in about 20,000 in taxes. We have a 14 year old, 11 and 23 in school. I did my taxes on turbo tax and according to the software I owe 4,000. I own a home and paid taxes and interest. Does this sound right? Should I have them progessionally done if I don't own any type of business. Thank you
