Hello! I graduated with a MBA in 2013, but never really landed a position where I could use my BA or MBA in accounting. Now I've been in a position for the past few years where I'm a SR accountant but I'm having trouble recalling what I learned all those years ago and also being able to apply it. I'd love to learn how to be a better accountant but I just don't know what steps to take. If anyone has any advice on how to actually apply what I learned ask those years ago to what I'm doing today it works be greatly appreciated. I just need a path that doesn't involve going back to college.

Since you do not want to go back to college then try self-study. You can buy a used intermediate accounting book online. The Keiso, Weygandt books are good. The older editions are less expensive and are still useful.
