USA Require wire transfers

My company has been having issues with customers paying late. I know when I worked in Europe, everyone paid via wire and there was none of this "the check is in the mail" nonsense. Does anybody require their customers pay via wire and if so, how do you tell them this?

some can do this in contracts. some business make arrangements for ach payments for a fee from the vendor. QB and other accounting softwares partner on this.
