USA Quicken 2013

Hi I am Debbie and I have not been on this site before. I have just installed Quicken 2013. My quicken launcher stops working after the download from my bank. I have to pull up task manager and close quicken then restart it to match my transactions. I have been a quicken user since 1998 and I am lost on how to fix this. Can anyone help:

Check for system updates, verify you have the correct version of Quicken for your system by looking of the release version and googling it with your system name etc.

Check the Event Viewer in windows and read what it says when you open Quicken.
If you find an error in the Event Viewer, google it and try to find the solution.

If none of that helps, try re-installing Quicken. I hope this helps!

what worked was changing the date on my computer per instructions found in another thread on this discussion board. When I manually setback the date to a day before the latest backup, I was able to run Quicken 2012 and open the data file.
