In Quickbooks Online, I am trying to set up a Sales Tax Agency that is not listed in QBooks list of Sales Tax Agencies. Does anyone know a solution besides using a wrong agency name?
Quickbooks Instructions in BOLD.
To add a tax rate and agency:
From the left menu, select Taxes.
Under the Related Tasks list on the right, select Add/edit tax rates and agencies.
Select New and choose either a single or a combined tax rate.
Enter a name for the tax, the agency you pay, and the percentage for the rate. Use a single rate if you pay just one rate to a single agency.
Select Save.
Using QB Online, I don’t see the RELATED TASKS option listed.
I need to add Sales Tax Agency CITY OF HOMEWOOD, AL. This agency is not in your available list.
Please advise.
