Quickbooks invoicing and undpeosited funds question?

If I completed a job that was invoiced in QB's and I did the labor as a charity...how would you clear the invoice and show that the labor was donated??
I'm having issues with the funds showing up in the undeposited funds account - when there are no funds to deposit.
