Hi all,
I recently had to restore a file that was saved before I processed my payroll.
So, I no longer have a record of the payroll I processed just before I restored the older file.
I can manually enter the paychecks without using Direct Deposit, but I'm not sure how that will
affect reports. Now, whenever I try to process payroll, it gives me a message that says:
This QuickBooks file may be missing some of the payroll data that you have
already sent to the Payroll Service. You need to restore the missing data
before creating any new payroll transactions. To restore the missing data,
click the Go Online button in the Send Payroll Data window.
I have gone to the Send Payroll Data window, but it won't let me do anything. It just
keeps giving me the same warning.
How exactly do I proceed to restore the already-sent direct
deposit info into my checkbook register? Or, is there some easy way to just
get rid of this message and enter the payroll data manually? QB Payroll service pays all
our taxes, etc for us, so I need to be sure everything is accurate as far as they are concerned.
