My wife and I are opening a veterinary hospital and live in Maine near the New Hampshire border. We've found a possible location in New Hampshire but I fear we'll end up in the worst of both worlds - paying NH business taxes and Maine personal income taxes.
If the difference is a percentage point or two we might be able to swing it as we'd likely draw from a more affluent demographic in NH vs. a western Maine location.
Moving to NH isn't an option right now as we bought at the peak or the housing bubble.
Can someone help?
