We import and distribute meat. We have two branches and a H.O. When we receive a shipment first we deliver to our customers and the remaining goes to our branches. My question is which costs should be added on the inventory transfers to and from branch? Airport customs cost works out 0.80 per kg, should we include this in inventory transfers to branches. We record customs bills in our H.O but my main concern is if I add customs cost in inventory transfers to branches I will be over stating my expense or should I just charge the same price our vendors charge us?
