This is a hypothetical question... This is for accounting in the U.S.. Pretend you currently don't know much about accounting and that the job you are preparing for is one in where you're dealing with almost all aspects of accounting, and that you only have 2 hours a day for a year to prepare for your new job. What books would you try to understand and memorize? (Pretend you can get the answer key to that book's practice problems). And what software/tutorials would you look at and learn during the year? Also would you do anything else?
