I have to do a debate, Please help

I have to present a debate this Tuesday (9/11/12) coming up. I have to come up with reasons as to why the Right of Use approach for leases is not superior to the capital lease/operating lease. Any help is appreciated.

Since "right of use' has become the standard your position is difficult. But I would start to attack Right of Use as being unnecessarily complicated. Obtain some comparative examples where both methods are used on the same lease. The total expense dollars annually will differ but not by much. Thus, argue the "benefit" of Right to Use is nebulous while it is complicated (and must cost more to calculate and audit) . So it is not an efficient or effective
use of time and resources.
