I work at a university and I would like to register a write for scholarships that the University grants certain students. Traditionally, accountants who have preceded me, putted a debit in the account scholarship (expense) and credited an account of schooling (income). I think this writing is not correct because charge account is debited and income account credited, which has no effect in the financial statements. However, I can not find a better. Could you give me some recommendations. Thank you. Respond as soon as possible.
