USA How can I keep track of Sales Orders of Remakes

I am working for a manufacturing company and right now we are not keeping track of orders we need to remake because the customer is not satisfied or because it gets damaged when is being installed. When this happens we create a new sales order but we can not tell is a Remake. How can I manage this situation? Thanks for the help

One suggestion would be to post them to a separate sales account; for example Sales - rework or Sales - second chance. You could also modify invoice or work order numbers by adding a digit or a X or some other character.
