USA Do I need to use a Corporate Bank Account?

New member. I have been reading for some time. Lots of good info on here.

Starting a small Photography business. Waiting for the CA State to approve my LLC and send back the paperwork.

Meanwhile I bought $5,000 in required camera equipment for the business on my personal credit card.

I'm now realizing this was probably a mistake and everything needs to be purchased through my LLC bank account once that is set-up???

**** Can I repurchase the equipment from myself using my LLC bank account? Or should I return everything and repurchase the company bank account in a few weeks? ****

Thanks a ton! I am new to all the accounting field. It is the hard part for me. I am in no way trying to avoid taxes or anything. I want to do everything the correct way without having to return everything if possible.

No, it's not that complicated. You would just be reimbursing yourself from the business bank account once it set up.
