USA Developing a SasSH(service+tool)to help accountants get new clients, need your advice

I'm currently building a new software for accountants, a hybrid - service + software, that will help you get new clients every month(oh, and I'm not trying to sell anything here). I have a few questions and it would be awesome if you could help me a bit:

Questions:
1)/What's the current workflow of getting new clients?
2)Do you have a dedicated service that is doing lead generation for you?
3)Have you tried getting clients from linkedin, twitter, cold call or cold email?
4)What's your target customer?
5)Where your target customer hangs out online?

I'll really appreciate if anyone would take a min and answer my questions.

Hi there, I know it's been a while but I'm in that boat right now so here goes:

1. Network, advertise, network, website, network
2. No
3. Sort of: I've tried direct mail to a known mailing list
4. Small to medium sized businesses (30 employees or fewer), may or may not have their own bookkeeper, private industry and non-profits
5. That's what I'm trying to find out right now
