Hi there. New to Quicken. I'm assuming this is a simple question for Quicken users but I simply can't find the correct answer (at least in language that makes sense to me). I have a checking account and several credit card accounts set up in 2011 for Online Access. Each month, I'd like to pay the monthly credit card payments online either through the credit card companies website and have that payment reflected in Quicken the right way. I attempted to enter the transaction through each credit card account in Quicken but that resulted in duplicate payments in my check register once that payment cleared my bank and the transactions were downloaded.
What am I doing wrong? (I'm sure the list is long)
