So as I fill out my firm's Schedule of Classes for 2012 to renew our NASBA certification, the classes we conducted as "Fraud" through the year cannot be classified as such for the purposes of NASBA. There were only a few classes, and they were geared toward our California CPAs since CA has a Fraud requirement. After a call into the NASBA office, I was told probably 5 different times "classes must be certified as one of the 23 subject areas as defined on our website." Thanks, I could have just learned that part from reading your website, which I had.
Is there a reason that NASBA does not recognize Fraud as a CPE subject area?
