Hi guys,

I'm a computer engineer and have 7 years of work experience in software programming. Now I got interested in Management and Accounting. Some people advice me to join ACCA and join courses. But I'm not sure what to do ? ... should I spend my money on the IT field to get to the higher degrees ? or should I completely change my field to finance ?

How is the market in finance jobs ? How much is the salary of a chartered accountant?
Where should I start ? how much in takes for a chartered accountant to be a CFO ?

thanks in advance

Hey,

It all depends on what is more interesting to you. Work is not work when you enjoy what you are doing. So first decide which field you want to pursue and then there are a sea of options. The answer to your question has the same answer as how long would it take you to become the head of software programming of a software house? :)

Kind regards,
