Good afternoon!
Here's the problem: I carried out some translation work for an Italian company.
They have paid me by cheque and in Euros.
I do not have a bank account in the UK (or in Italy).
Is it possible to cash the cheque in the UK as it stands? What I mean is I would like to receive the Euros and not the equivalent in Pound Sterling.
I will be going to Europe soon and would need the Euros hence I would like to avoid paying two commissions (i.e. from Euros to Pounds and then back again for my trip).
Does anyone know if this is at all possible.
