A revenue recognition question

My company does training. I sent two of my employees to the training. Can I recognize revenue and debit expenses for their training in one entry? Is this GAAP acceptable?

Lets discuss this with example.

suppose your 2 employees are trained by ABC company for 1200USD.
ABC company provided you service, you can insert entry as following.


Increase in expenses which is Debit and Decrease in cash which is credit.

Training Expense= 1200 Debit
Cash= 1200 Credit.
